Okay, so buckle up. This is a deep cut into shit there's no way you care about. In fact, why are you reading this? But, whoever you are and whatever your reason for looking at this, please bear with me.
I listen to this comic podcast called Ifanboy. They started doing this running joke where they point out every time they see the phrase 'I've Got This' or some variation on their review show. This really confused me.
See, I've been collecting comic panels that use 'I've got this' and posting them on this blog for years. Here's a link to the first post of this blog from 2011:
http://comicsouttacontext.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-got-this.html
Now, when Ifanboy started pointing out I've got this panels, I tried to remember why I had started doing this. At first I thought I started collecting these because my buddy John said the phrase I've got this all the time. But, then I remembered that it was actually Zach who started yelling I've got this, on some long forgotten acid trip. I think at some point there was even an I've got this song. Either way, one of them used the phrase so often I saved every I've got this I saw.
But, then there's this Ifanboy thing. Why do they do it? Did they secretly influence my collecting of I've got this? Or did I somehow influence them? Or is this yet another example of the unified consciousness influencing what we like to pretend is independent thought and action? Who gets the credit? Who's to blame? WHO'S GOT THIS?
Anyway, here's another I've Got This.

...AT LEAST UNTIL THE NEW CHEMTRAIL FORMULA IS READY
A bored Captain America listening to a lecture on Chem Trails and water fluoridation. Something I never expected to see, and never knew I needed.

"WE HAVE COME HERE FOR YOUR BRAIN."
So this, this is a big one for me. I wouldn't feel wrong calling it momentous. See, there was this comic I had when I was a little kid. It was an issue of the ninja turtles where they went back in time and talked Hitler into committing suicide. I knew it existed, but I could never find a trace of it online. Not even a mention, like isn't it weird that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles killed Hitler? Well, I finally found the comic. And it's straight up amazing. Even stranger than I remembered.
So the story also involves Hitler's brain in a mech suit.
This Hitler Brain is working with the current Hitler to... do Nazi stuff...
Hitler tries desperately to save his brain after the mech suit is destroyed. Then Raphael calls him a perv. Seems a little weird. Like hasn't Hitler done a lot of worse stuff than be perverted? Was he even a known pervert? I mean I guess genocide is like a perversion of life. I'm too excited to look it up.
This panel's been imprinted in my brain for 20 years.
Hitler gets the drop on the turtles. Gotta love that classic Nazi pistol.
Of course Hitler's hell would be populated by Americans.
Woah, what a finale! The Leonardo pretends to be a fucking demon, intent on taking Hitler's brain. He claims to already have Hitler's soul, but wants his brain specifically. To avoid this Hitler shoots himself in the fucking head.
For years, I wasn't sure if this was even real. I started to doubt my childhood memories. I thought Maybe I'd made this comic up. It wasn't showing up on any google searches, and you'd figure someone would mention that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles used a time machine to make Hitler kill himself. It sounded more like acid babble then something several writers and artists would take a month of their life making. But they did make it. They made it specially for children. This comic was published by Archie comics, I think I bought it at a old spinner rack at K-mart!
So I'm not crazy. Or we all are. Either way, this is among my top five single issues of all time. I don't even know why Hitler Brain Mech was there. Gotta read some previous issues to find out what was up with that.
